Wild Cedar Wellness offers a range of services from movement to energy, touch, meditation and conscious relaxation. These tools can be mixed and matched to suit your unique needs, or you can try them on their own depending on what suits you best at at the time. Remember, we are always changing. You might wish to try a range of services before creating a custom package made just for you.

Movement

Movement

Informed by yoga asana with a generous helping of modern movement science and an invitation for intuition, movement sessions are crafted to create a deep sense of embodiment and empowerment. I believe that each person’s power lies in their uniqueness, and that no one movement modality will ever be the only thing you need. Therefore, you can expect exciting new ways to move, challenging and soothing your system along the way. Movement sessions are somatic – listening and tending to the lessons your body gives, and structural – using form and technique to create a safe container to move within. Massage

Massage

Respectful touch inspired by the teachings of Thailand’s Wat Pho, infused a with deep anatomical awareness and a sincere love of the stories that we carry in our bodies. Intentional massage is not massage therapy; rather, an intuitive touch session guided by energy work and the power of human connection. Pressure is modified to suit the individual and how their unique story has landed in their body. Massage is practiced with reverence, compassion and meditative awareness. 60, 90 and 120 minute sessions are available. Send a message to book an appointment.

Meditation

Meditation comes in many forms. The most basic two are mindfulness and visualisation. Wild Cedar guided meditation meets you where you are so your meditation practice can land firmly in your life and have the greatest impact. Using a variety of therapeutically proven techniques, we’ll generally begin with simple grounding and orienting methods. As we move deeper into the body and breath, you’ll be invited to notice an awareness of your body’s gross and subtle messages, as well as the way that your body interacts with the space around it. Once you’re tuned in to the magic of the physical body, we can begin delving into the realm of the imagination – for once we are attentive, we begin to realise the truth of our wildest dreams. Energy

Energy

Fueled by Reiki and the power of the nervous system, Wild Cedar Intuitive Energy Work uses a non-dogmatic approach to healing. The power lies within the ability for humans to be in relationship with one another, and with the world around us. Through nervous system co-regulation, unconditional positive regard and the communicative power of touch, you can expect to feel relaxed, unburdened by unconscious limitations, and ready to move out of expired patterns. Touch is important, and humans can feel each other. When this respectful touch is coupled with the power of intention and deep nervous system resonance, your body can clear the way to its own healing. This type of magic can also be practiced remotely – think of it as a kind of resonance prayer. One on one or distant sessions are available. Wild Cedar Conscious Relaxation is a form of Yoga Nidra. Without stripping Nidra of its roots (which run deep) Conscious Relaxation strives to make the practice accessible to everyone by avoiding culturally sensitive terms and religious underpinnings. Forms of Yoga Nidra have, in this way, been proven so effective in releasing trauma that they have been approved for use in soldiers recovering from PTSD. Using a modified approach to a lineage based system cultivated from various forms of Tantra, Yoga and hypnopedia, Conscious Relaxation is a step-by-step process of moving from the outer world to the inner world, where the body is meant to sleep while the consciousness remains aware. Not only can you expect a profound sense of relaxation, but once we journey to the deeper parts of the psyche, incredible transformations can be made. A guided self-hypnosis of sorts, Conscious Relaxation can serve to dismantle deeply rooted limiting belief structures and plant seeds of empowerment into your subconscious mind where they will take root, grow and thrive. Since the meditation is done laying down or in another comfortable position, it is appropriate for almost anyone who finds stillness calming, and can be adapted for groups or privates.
